Firsts

Living with an infant is a series of firsts, one right after another...first smile, first laugh, first explosive projectile poop...This week we had a few firsts - enough to blog about, especially since the pictures are too cute for words.

This is our first try at solid food!  That gleam in her eye is part tears of confusion and part the avid glint of approval.  On Tuesday, after her first day to daycare with cereal, one of the ladies asked if we could send in more the next day.  Lots more...

This is her first cozy outfit.  Hurricane Sandy tried to accelerate our progression to winter, and Monday thru Wednesday were very chilly, especially early in the morning when we leave for school.  She looked pretty adorable in her cozy monkey outfit.

Wednesday also was out first Halloween - one of my most favorite holidays.  I dressed up as a farmer, and told everyone one I was a pumpkin farmer.  I have the cutest pumpkin ever.

So, we now get to settle into a weekend without any social obligations.  I do have to clean the house - Nana and Uncle Brady are arriving next week!!  And tomorrow breakfast we're going to try pears for the first time - wish us luck!
